Our projects are overseen by our qualified SMSTS and SSSTS trained managers to ensure that each project runs smoothly and completes within the designated timescale and budget. Full Refurbishment Packages
As a practical and often cost-effective alternative to a full replacement, we can replace all the key operational components of an escalator. This can include Chains, belts, handrails, steps, switches, cables, control panels and lighting. A full refurbishment will also usually include the removal and refurbishment of the motor & gearboxes, drive sprockets and bearings with a cosmetic revival of all non-replaceable panelling.
"Energy Saving" Control Panel Replacements & Full Rewire
Go Escalator Services Ltd are highly experienced in the installation of start on demand control panels and we have achieved energy savings of up to 70% for our clients with an average saving of 40-50% (depending on footfall). In addition to replacing the control panel we replace all the wiring throughout the escalator and install new limit switches. We also fit additional safety switches and sensors to meet all the latest EN115 regulations. In addition to Under step lighting our electrical engineers are able to fit energy saving equipment on any type of escalator.

Energy Efficient LED Lighting Upgrades
Go Escalator Services Ltd have installed energy efficient Led lighting on hundreds of escalators throughout some of the most prestigious sites in the UK. This lighting can include under-step lighting, under-handrail lighting and skirt lighting. Our Led strip lighting is not only energy efficient, it also transforms the cosmetic look of the escalator whilst improving the ambience of the surrounding area.

Mechanical Re-Life
Over a period of time mechanical components of an escalator can deteriorate through wear and tear. Go Escalator Services Ltd offer a full range of mechanical re-life and component replacement options. Our re-life options aim to extend the life of your existing machine for up to 15 years to eliminate the need for a full escalator replacement. Examples of parts we can replace include step chains, handrail drive chains, main drive chains, handrails, handrail drive components, handrail guides, newel ends, step chain guides, comb plates, shafts and sprockets, motor and gearbox overhaul/replacement, brake components, pit covers, comb bearers, steps, skirt brush, carriage and drive bearings.
